EXPLAINING THE CENSUS

Explain the Census

The Forum hosts an Open Meeting on Thursday 24th February 2011, starting at 6.30pm in the Training Room. We have invited a speaker from the Office for National Statistics to come along and explain how vital it is that we all complete the Census Document on Sunday 27th March 2011.  There are no sinister reasons for gathering this information, in fact it will be of great assistance to us in the future that we have an up to date picture of our community, as this is essential to help us apply for correct funding etc.

THE key points that we want to understand are: -

Why must you fill in a census document ?

What does it means to you and your family ?

How will the outcome of this national activity have an impact on the provision of services to you and this community ?

Sorting out fact from fictions ?

All are welcome - please bring a friend.
